Unco Franks lunch plate Hawaiian food was so good I had to get on here and write a review. I was blown away by the quality and level of flavor that was here (I got the Mochiko Chicken Plate - 15). Made my day! Chicken was crispy, flavorful, and juicy - with a crunch that held up to the tangy sauce and togarashi. Rice was dusted with furikake and cooked perfectly. Then there was the addition of the mac salad and a small green salad with an excellent dressing. Everything was on point! I inquired right away when they were open again so I could return. Thank you for bringing this to Clement Street. So great to have you here. :)

Vinyl records and pet nats - what more could one ask for? I noted that the wine buyer/somm here has a sophisticated nose; stocking TWO hard-to-find/semi discrete producers of cool climate wine. I was impressed with the inclusion of Mountain Tops Pinot Noir and Ochota Barrels from the Adelaide Hills in their offerings. Bonus points for featuring a Victorian Pinot, as well. You can probably hear my accent at this point... a biased Australian wine enthusiast. Whoever is running the show here, knows exactly what is going on.

This place is a hidden gem ! Wine and Hawaiian food...yea I know it’s a bit of a non sequitur that’s one of the things that so fantastic about it. The wine is world class and so is the food. The space is cool and the prices are totally fair. Where High Treason really shines is the people who run it. Amazing energy and knowledge, best I’ve experienced in the Bay Area in years. Absolutely no attitude at all except enthusiasm for great wine, food and hospitality. Truly exceptional. I can’t wait to go back.

It’s way above the regular bar food quality but not as good as a restaurant. However, the waitress was extremely hospitable and I’ll definitely come back again.

Food was good, big portions although the fried rice was a little salty. Kalbi and coconut shrimp are to die for.

lovely place for a casual wine date night with nice records and unique interiors. wines were perfectly chilled, service smooth and staff knowledgeable. we loved our two recommendations — one gin-like sparkling rose and another more desserty wine with cola aftertaste.

Welcome to High Treason, a culinary oasis nestled at 443 Clement St, San Francisco. This unique establishment artfully combines the sophistication of a world-class wine destination with the vibrant flavors of Hawaiian cuisine. As you step inside, you're greeted by an inviting ambiance that balances casual comfort with an air of refined curiosity.

One of the standout features of High Treason is its impressive wine club, praised for being an engaging experience even for seasoned connoisseurs. I was particularly captivated by the selections curated by their knowledgeable wine buyer, showcasing hard-to-find gems like the Mountain Tops Pinot Noir and Ochota Barrels from Adelaide Hills. This attention to detail in their wine offerings speaks volumes about their commitment to quality.

The culinary offerings are equally remarkable. The Mochiko Chicken Plate, a fan favorite, has left patrons like Kyle Van Auker raving about its crispy, juicy chicken coated in a tangy sauce with a delightful crunch. Paired with perfectly cooked rice dusted with furikake and complemented by a refreshing mac salad and a small green salad, each component harmonizes to create a memorable dining experience.

The energetic staff embodies a genuine enthusiasm for great wine and food, making every visit feel like a special occasion. As Ward Carey aptly put it, High Treason is a hidden gem where exceptional hospitality meets culinary creativity.

Add to that an excellent coffee bar and select cocktails, and you have a well-rounded meal or a casual hangout spot that caters to diverse tastes. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make it a point to experience the delightful fusion of flavors at High Treason; it’s a culinary journey worth embarking on.
